Grey Chalcedony, Rose Cut, Sterling Necklace

"A grey rock" doesn't sound very appealing, and I have no idea what this is, but looks to be a chalcedony. It's really pretty, with delicate wave patterns. It's hard material and took a very nice polish. The smaller chalcedony is a rose cut, very pale lavender color - compliments the larger stone quite nicely. This is a super, lovely necklace.

The pendant itself is 2-5/8" long by 1-1/8" at the widest. (70mm x 27mm) The sterling chain is 18" and is finished with a sterling lobster clasp. I've oxidized the metal and then sanded to a satin finish.

I'm creating abstract, mixed media paintings in my spare time, so I was inspired to etch an abstract pattern on the back side.
